Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” has captivated it’s audiences since it premiere in 1993. It is considered a masterpiece in stop-motion animation that won a Golden Globe and an Academy Award in 1994.

The film followed the misadventures of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s beloved pumpkin king, who had become bored with the same annual routine of frightening people in the real world. When Jack accidentally stumbled on Christmastown, all bright colors and warm spirits, he got a new lease on life so he plotted to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role.

This movie was well received by critics as well as the general public and became an instant classic. I highly recommend anyone who has not seen this movie to watch it.
