This week, our winterguard started their first practice in person. They are getting ready for their TECA competition season. This year, due to Covid-19, all competitions they will be attending, will be virtual. Senior captain, Jacqueline Gallardo , along with senior co-captain , Ivan Leal, will be this year’s leaders. The first competition will be on March 13,2021. The guard will have to send in a video in order to be in the virtual competition. They have been checking in with Mrs.Perez who is one of the band directors. They are following all Covid-19 protocols by staying six feet apart from each other at all times. The guard is bringing their own equipment and staying safe by checking temperatures, sanitizing their hands and equipment, and staying home if they do not feel good.
