Here at Memorial High School, we have this program called “UT OUTREACH,” which is where a group of students have a meeting once a month and talk about college preparations. There are groups selected for freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. By the end of your senior year, you should be able to go on a couple trips to some universities in Texas.

This program can benefit students by preparing us more for college. There are presentations given to us that provide much information for or future.

The information can be used to help us with all colleges, not just the ones in Texas, with financial aid , or room and tuition. It can also be useful when it comes to scholarships because we may be the first ones to know about them.
