The Man in the Street

On the night of October 27, 2018, Victoria Velasco and Elise Lizka had a night out on the town and were craving some nice warm tacos from Taco Palenque.

“We were driving down Canton and all I could think about was biting into my potato, bean and cheese taco”, Velasco said.

Approaching the street light, they noticed a dark figure standing in the left turning lane.

“At first I thought I was just really tired and that I was imagining it. It wasn’t until I got closer that I knew what I was seeing was real.” Lizka said.

“We drove up next to the figure and we were shook!” Velasco said. “He was just standing there with a blanket over his face.”

They were frightened by the sight and sped off immediately.

“We decided not to let the scary man kill our vibe so we just went to Taco Palenque and enjoyed our delicious tacos,” Lizka said.
