Hey everybody! My name is Cameron Alaniz.  I joined the Newspaper staff as a Junior from the class of 2016.  I live with my Mom, Dad, and my brother whom I look up to a lot- but not as much as my Hermana (Claudia), who is also in newspaper.  One thing about me is that I always like to try things.  I'm open to a lot!  Whether it's food, an activity, or learning something (not school related, please), I will think, "Hey, I've got to try that!"  This mentality has gotten me to accomplish a lot!

I am here because one of my favorite things in the world is writing, along with a lot of other things like art, soccer, music, animals and outdoorsy stuff.  Oh! And of course, my amazing dog Bruce! But above all, my love for writing, without a doubt, is was what drove me to select Newspaper as my final elective (along with the constant recommendations from my friends already in it).  Writing has and always will be a favorite hobby of mine.  I'm always searching for more inspiration for story ideas, whether it's a habit of mine or just my personality.  Hopefully that will come in handy in this class!
